In 2024, IJICSM underwent a strategic transformation to align with global academic publishing standards. The journal adopted a double-blind peer review process, fully transitioned to an open-access model, and began assigning Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to all published articles to ensure greater visibility, traceability, and academic credibility.

Under the Civspectra Research Publishers portal, a modern online submission and publishing system was launched, streamlining editorial workflows and expediting review timelines.
